Adam Fuller
Adam Fuller, a nurse on 4 West, is the first recipient of the DAISY Award. The assistant director speaks with all the patients on the unit every day to check on their nursing care. Frequently, patients tell the director that Adam is compassionate and kind. One patient shared that Adam brewed tea for him and his family after midnight one evening and continued to check on them throughout the night. Another patient described him as “an angel of mercy.” Patients regularly describe Adam as compassionate, professional and willing to go the extra mile.
