I was Precepting with Addie when we received an elderly patient from the floor who had gone into an uncontrollable afib rate. Following MD orders, Addie continued to monitor, communicate and return orders eventually placing the patient on a cardizem drop. The patient converted to normal sinus rhythm shortly after. I found Addie to be patient, professional and an expert in the telemetry field. She is a great role model and team player. She is someone who I would consider a great group leader and an excellent resource. I’m sure Addie has saved many lives and will continue to do so as her career progresses.
