Recently I was a patient on ground south after my surgery. Right after surgery I was in pain and just wanted the pain to go away. My nurse for the rest of the day was Alberta. From the time that I arrived to my room to the end of her shift, she went out of her way to help me in any way she can. When I rang my bell, she came right away and always had a reassuring smile. She promised that the pain would get better and it did. The next day, I was relieved to see her again. She helped me out of the bed for the first time and even took time to walk with me in the hall. I thank her for her help in making my recovery uneventful.
