Alison Meyer
Alison was nominated by a thankful patient: “I was facing surgery. She was so reassuring that I would make it through because I was one that wanted to do what it took to be successful. More than that, though, was her willingness to take me for walks which I needed and enjoyed. We would then just chat about things: Family, pets, grandkids, whatever, and she listened. After surgery, she came and saw me to say hi, even though at that time she was not my assigned nurse. I can’t imagine a nurse being more compassionate! She was an ‘angel’ in time of need.”
