We had a 33 year old patient who came in unresponsive and was being put on the vent. We called the family and the mother and could not get in because she was on oxygen and could not drive. She said she would be in as early in the morning as possible. Amy was getting off work at 0300 a.m. called the mother back and asked if she would like for her to come and pick her up, so that she could be with her son. Amy on her own time went to the mother's house and brought her to the hospital, so that she could be with him. |
