Arlise Clark-Bias
Patient and Family nomination Dad had lost the will to live. Arlise stayed by his side encouraging him, coaching him and making sure everything he wanted or needed from medicine to socks to even a TV. Even when he moved to a different floor temporarily she checked on him. When brought back to the Unit she still checked on him, said hello and got him to laugh. If it wasn’t for her and her phone calls I wouldn’t have been able to leave and rest! She looked after both of us. Any questions she answered, explained and educated me on his condition and how to care for him. Family nomination My spouse was very ill and having chest pains. He needed 2 stents and 2 pints of blood. Nurse Arlise was his nurse and was so caring for him and myself when he was in Room 19, ICU after surgery. She deserves this award.
