Audrey Mandt

As we travel our career path, we are affected by the people that we encounter. We hope these encounters are positive and enriching. Audrey Mandt has always been a positive influence on our department.

Audrey came to us with a wisdom grained from years of experience in working with others. She also brought her humor, grace, compassion, skill, professionalism, dependability, and loyalty. Nursing is her passion and she chooses to continue to work to make a difference in the lives of others.

Audrey puts the patients first, providing them with quality care and education. She is kind and good to all those she encounters and repeatedly receives compliments in our patient surveys.

As one patient put it after inquiring how long Audrey had been a nurse: “A lot of people have been lucky enough to have you as their nurse”. We (Same Day Surgery) have been “lucky enough” to have Audrey as a co-worker. She has been our mentor in the field of nursing as well as life. She is such an inspiration and a role model for all.

Audrey readily adapts to changes and embraces them. When we went live with Epic, Audrey was interested and eager to begin a new phase of nursing. Amazing!! She is a life-long learner who is unafraid of change or challenge.

She is our hero!
