Becky Scott

Rebecca Scott (Becky) is an extraordinary nurse.  She is a very kind, patient, loving nurse who never has a bad word to say about anyone.  She is always cheerful.  Her patients love her.  She will go the extra mile for the patient as well as for her coworkers.  The patient comes first even if that means staying over after her shift has ended to make sure something gets done for her patient.  She embodies what this award is all about, compassionate care.  She exemplifies the MLH values of service, quality, integrity, and teamwork.  All CVSD nurses, patients, and anyone who meets Becky love her.  You can tell that she truly cares and she deserves this award!

I was recently hospitalized over night and would like to share my gratitude towards your staff with you.  Everyone was more than helpful and attentive to my needs while I was under the hospital’s care.  Although, there was one staff member, Becky Scott, that stood out more than any other.  I want to let you know how lucky you are to have such an amazing employee working for you.  Methodist North has always been my hospital of choice and will continue to be.  Thank you for everything.

I was a recent heart patient at Methodist North, and I would like to convey to the hospital and staff my grateful appreciation for their excellence, attention to detail, and thorough professional care during my stay.  I am an old soldier and I can’t tell you how important your kindness and caring attention to duty were to me and my family in the healing process.

Notably, I would like to commend Ms. Becky Scott, RN, for her professional, efficient, and personable approach in the management of my care while I was a patient there.  Although her workload was heavy at times, she was always thorough, and never in too much of a hurry to complete my treatment,  administer medicine, or keep me fully informed as to my progress.  She followed up flawlessly on every issue that presented a concern, and was quick to get answers to questions of medical significance.  She fostered a great deal of confidence in the treatment I received and in the hospital in general.

The efficient manner in which Ms. Scott was able to follow changes in medicines, her flexibility and full knowledge of the combined effects of medicine, treatment and care, and pride in her profession were evident throughout.  Her seamless interaction with my doctor’s nurse practitioner made the preparations for my departure just as efficient and pleasant as my stay.  She is an example of excellence in patient care, and her high-level performance reflects considerable credit on the Le Bonheur Hospital System.
