Betty Wolken

Betty received a number of nominations from her co-workers at Sanford Hospital Jackson, Jackson, Minnesota. Her nomination statements included:

Betty has spent her entire nursing career (30+ years) at the Jackson Hospital.  Not only does she give patients reassurance, the patients report feeling calmer in her presence, knowing that they are being cared for by a compassionate, competent nurse.  Many patients schedule their infusions and treatments when Betty is on duty. 

Betty has helped orientate the nursing staff in Jackson over the last 30 years.  She is the solid rock and resource person that all staff goes to for answers.  Betty is the matriarch for the nursing staff at Sanford Jackson Hospital.
