Briccio Gulian

When I read about the DAISY Award and what it exemplified, I immediately thought of Briccio Gulian RN.

Bric brings to work this giant amount of compassion, and not just for the patients but the for the family members and staff also.  He has tireless energy, and at any given time can be found helping ALL patients on the floor. Whether its accompanying a patient to CT Scan, calling to check on a sick coworker, or advocated for a patient when “something is just not right” Bric is right there doing whatever it takes and then some. 

Briccio is passionate about the nursing profession, and it shows in the extraordinary care that he provides.  Every single person that he comes in contact with feels his warmth and genuine concern—from pharmacy, to housekeeping, to the physicians.  I wish that I could write about a specific event, but every single time that Bric is at work, it is an EVENT.  He is truly extraordinary, and I know that I am blessed to be his co-worker and colleague.
