Carlo Juanola

Carlo Juanola, a Clinical Nurse in the Neurosurgical ICU, is an exceptional nurse. He demonstrates enormous compassion towards his patients. He takes a personal interest in each of his patients. He cares, listens to his patients, and meets both thier nursing and emotional needs in many ways. He always gives more of himself than is expected. Carlo can always be found at his patients bedside. He maintains communication with patients and families at a time when they are dealing with difficult and overwhelming issures. He goes out of his way to meet all of lthe needs of the patient and family. He treats all of his patients and families with the same sensitivity.

Carlo is an advocate for his patients. He coordinates the care of his patients, goes above and beyond to guarantee that the needs of the patient and family are met. His patients and families remember him after their hospital stay and provide positive feedback to his supervisors. He consistently receives multiple compliments and letters to thank him for his attentiveness, extraordinary care, professionalism and commitment to his patients. He is truly dedicated to providing excellence in nursing.
