According to her nominator, Carmina is a soft spoken, compassionate nurse who is a highly competent professional. One cited example of her amazing care was a situation where she actively sat with and monitored a difficult patient who was hospitalized due to a drug overdose. While it would have been easier to put the patient in restraints to ensure her safety, Carmina chose to maintain the patient’s dignity by actively managing her condition. “This was just one example of how Carmina cares for her patients and actively listens and responds to their needs,” said her nominator. “She is always considerate of others… especially her patients and their families.”
