Caroline Thurston

Caroline Thurston from the Central Croydon MHOA CMHT has been nominated by a coworker who wrote about her:

‘Caroline has recently demonstrated this in supporting a client and her family with a move from the client’s own home to a care home. The client had never wanted to move into a care home and Caroline supported her to live at home with her dog for a number of years through individualised care planning, excellent communication with all involved and ‘going the extra mile’. Sadly as the client’s dementia illness progressed the situation at home became more precarious and it became unsafe for the client to remain at home. Caroline supported and led the client and the family through this difficult time and the client is now settled in a care home.’
