Carolyn Livingston

Ms. Carolyn Livingston’s expertise as a nurse was crucial in regards to my mother’s recent illness. I had taken my mother to several doctors and received the same incorrect diagnosis consistently in a time span of several days. However, my mother’s condition continued to decline. Knowing Carolyn as a member of the community, I decide to speak with her regarding my mother’s condition. After speaking with Carolyn, she agreed to take a look at my mother and suggested that I take her to the Methodist South Emergency Department. Although, Carolyn had just completed her twelve hour work shift, she did not hesitate to stop by and check on my mother. After arriving at the Emergency Department, my mother was properly diagnosed and referred to a doctor for immediate surgery, which was successful.

I cannot over emphasize the nurturing attitude that Carolyn demonstrates when caring for her patients. It is her desire for all patients to receive the best healthcare possible. Carolyn is truly appointed and anointed by God to serve as a nurse. She indeed walks in her calling and contributes to the vision/mission statement of Methodist South, by providing excellent patient care.
