Christi Lawrence

The father of one of our employees was recently brought by ambulance to Saint Agnes. The nominator – this same employee – witnessed Christi Lawrence’s attentiveness to her dad’s care in the Emergency Department.

Christi was calming and kept in constant verbal contact with the patient, even when his responses did not make sense. Christi brought blankets and socks to keep him warm, and even brought dinner and a blanket to his wife while she waited. The nominator didn’t share that she was a Saint Agnes employee until her dad was ready to be transferred upstairs, but “I don’t believe it would have made a difference in how Christi treated my father,” the nominator said. “She made me proud of Saint Agnes and the care offered to our patients.”
