Christine Walukewicz

Christine Walukewicz goes out of her way to make sure that patients with diabetes get the resources they need to be successful in managing their disease.  Christine will often spend money out of her own pocket to purchase items to help someone manage their diabetes whether they are an adult or child.  In a most recent example she purchased interactive materials from the gift store to help lift up a child going through a new diagnosis of diabetes.  She not only helps them learn through her teaching, but she provided the patient with a toy that brought joy to them and takes their mind off of what they are experiencing.  She did this twice this past week and thought nothing of it.
