Dave Fessler
Dave was nominated by a patient who stated he was the most caring and compassionate nurse the patient had ever encountered. On a particular evening, the patient was experiencing anxiety over a new diagnosis. Dave sat with the patient and talked with him about the diagnosis, sports, the patient’s family, and many other topics. Dave did not leave the patient’s side until the patient had calmed.
