Dawn Bergmann

Dawn Bergmann is an extraordinary nurse. She is enthusiastic and energetic, inspiring everyone that works with her to do a better job and be a team player. Dawn has exceptional clinical skills, and is a great preceptor. She works with boundless energy, working extra shifts to assure that patient care is not compromised. I have worked with Dawn for five years and have seen the compassionate care that she gives to every patient unconditionally. What most impresses me is the way that she makes every patient feel special. She gives each patient and family her total attention, leading them through the clinical inpatient process, educating them, assuaging their fears, advocating for them with the clinical team, and significantly making a difference in their lives during the most stressful time of all - when they are ill and hospitalized. She is an example to all who work with her.
