Debbie Cash

Debbie was recently taking care of a patient who was soon to be discharged to a nursing home. The patient was very concerned about moving out of her house but even more concerned about her cat. Debbie told her husband the situation because he knew the patient's neighborhood (He delivers mail to that area). He found out the next day that the woman's house had been cleaned out and the kitty had been taken to a shelter. Immediately, he and Debbie did some research, located the pet, took it home to care for it, took it to visit the patient and then found a loving home and family who adopted the kitty. Debbie has been mentioned as a kind, compassionate, excellent nurse, who truly exemplifies the behaviors of a Good Samaritan.
