Debra Kurth

I would like to nominate Debra Kurth for the DAISY Award.  Debbie has worked for Providence Park since the hospital opened and has always displayed extraordinary dedication to her patients and co-workers.  Debbie is always willing to help in any capacity needed.  She helps to promote positive change for our unit to better meet the needs of our patients.

She serves as one of our primary preceptors on our unit and is always willing to have someone job shadow.  She takes this role very seriously and is an excellent mentor to anyone that is with her.  She is a resource for all staff and if she does not know an answer she is able to utilize resources to help.

When I work with Debbie it does not matter what kind of patient load I have.  I know it will be a good day because she is a team player.  She is always willing to help other co-workers.  Whether it is answering call lights, helping to pass medication, helping with turns, or safety rounds Debbie is always available and willing to help.  She continuously provides caring, compassionate, and safe care to all of our patients.  I am thankful that Debbie is a part of our team.

I hope that you will consider Debbie for the DAISY Award as she is an asset to our organization and is adored by her patients.
