Diane Paulsen
The March 2010 award recipient is Diane Paulsen, RN, of the PACU Department. Her department supervisor, Sharon O’Hara, nominated Diane for the award after Sharon received the following compliment from a fellow employee regarding Diane’s care: “On August 27, 2009, our daughter, Rachel, who has Down’s Syndrome had a surgical procedure. Diane Paulsen, the pre-op nurse was extraordinary with Rachel. She talked to Rachel in a clear language that she could understand; she looked at her at eye level and took her time with Rachel. Diane was very patient and kind and did a fantastic job! ABMC is very fortunate to have her here. What an asset to the hospital!”
