July's ABMC DAISY nomination was from Peggy Laemmerich, Med-Surg Supervisor, based on the following letter from a patient from Wausaukee, WI: "I am compelled to write this letter as a result of the outstanding nursing care I received while recovering from surgery at your hospital. In virtually all instances, I was greeted with a cheerful face and competent treatment and care. I must point out one individual nurse who, in my mind, stood above the others. Diane Weeden displayed the professionalism, compassion and medical care we all hope to receive. She always found a way to be there, always was extrememly pleasant and was tireless when caring for a sometimes cantankerous patient. Aurora BayCare Medical Center must be proud to have Diane on their staff of nurses. I must say my experience while staying at your hospital was made more pleasant because of your staff."
