Elizabeth Aristov

               “When I think of an extraordinary nurse, I always come back to Elizabeth Aristov.  She is a wonderful, beautiful person who is an excellent RN.  Her years of experience shine every day.  She is such a wealth of information and serves as a resource for us. She worked diligently with one particular patient. 

This patient had multiple admissions, diagnosis and was at the end of life, but she never complained, even though she knew it would be hours of work.  She wanted to make sure this patient’s wish to return home was fulfilled.  Which for many, this was just not possible due to his complex medical issues and would have given up.  But not Elizabeth, she went above and beyond to take care of this patient.  She set up a vent for home use which is not an easy endeavor.  Her kindness, determination and selflessness helped this patient achieve his wish to go home.  Elizabeth heard the news that the patient had passed away.  When she shared the news with me you could hear the compassion in her voice, that she was able to help this patient pass with dignity in his own home. 

I am very fortunate to work with Elizabeth.  She is such an asset to care management and to St. Francis.”
