Erica Martire
My father was admitted after a major stroke. I was contacted and immediately flew up from SC. Because of my father's expressed wishes, he could receive "comfort" care only for a "terminal" patient. Erica took care of my father for 12 hours (and me too). She showed true love and concern for our well being, in addition to her excellent nursing skills. UPMC Passavant is fortunate to have someone this dedicated, skillful and compassionate on staff. I believe she represents the best of the best and therefore nominate her for The DAISY Award.
