ErinO Malley

Yesterday, an elderly man was admitted to 3 West.  He came to the unit wearing clothing that was completely dirty; his shirt that was supposed to be white, was completely brown.  This nurse came in at 3 p.m. today and entered the patient's room.  She told the patient that someone had dropped off clothes for him (who, may I mention, has no family).  He now had fresh t-shirts, pants, a shirt, socks, and underwear. He pondered about who may have given him these articles of clothing; but, of course, he was unable to guess that it was a kind nurse on the floor who had gone out of her way for a patient who was in need.  Again, our Erin O’Malley is one who consistently goes above and beyond in the care of her patients.
