My husband suffered a major heart attack and heart failure. It took two ambulance rides and a life/air flight from Valley Vista to get to KRMC. I had received a phone call to go to the hospital, but they did not know which hospital they were bringing him to. When I reached the ER at KRMC they still had no word if they were going to bring him here. I was searching for some assistance of where I should go. I was asking anyone I could to possibly find out what hospital he might be take to. I then jumped in my car and went to the new hospital. There they found out he was being flown to the ER at KRMC. I rushed back to KRMC. I let the ER reception know that he was there and to let me know when I could see him. I don’t know what the time frame was but you then came and got me and while you were escorting me you calmly and gently explained he was currently having a heart attack. You stayed with me and explained everything that was going on and what they were doing. It was then decided he need to be rushed to the cardio lab to have the blockage removed in order to stop the attack. You then escorted me, my mom and my friend to another waiting room. A gentleman then brought us waters and sodas. You then told me that a nurse or doctor would come out and advise me of what was going on with my husband. As I waited there waiting to hear something no one ever came out. So I walked out and was standing in the hallway. You came around the corner. You said you had an update of how he was doing. And as I can remember you did this at least 2 times. I also learned that you were not in there with him, but you were a nurse down in the ER. And I then realized and was so touched that you took the time to take a moment to come find me and ease my mind of how my husband was doing.
I told you this story in hopes that you might remember, because I want you to know, that even though our lives crossed paths for once in a lifetime, I will remember you and the loving kindness you showed to me.

And I am sure there are more individuals out there that have been touched by you. You are truly one of God’s earth Angels. I will always be grateful to you, Thank You.
