These words were spoken at Gilda's DAISY Award Ceremony:

You provide excellent skilled and compassionate care to your patients and frequently go above and beyond with their care.  You seek out opportunities to increase your skills and knowledge and also share your knowledge with other staff.  You are the main person patients/families identify when asked, “Is there any Nurse you would like to point out as providing excellent care?”  You are a strong advocate for your patients and you work hard to maintain a healing environment for your patients and their families.

Your patient said, “She made sure that she spent time at my bedside for my first treatment.  She kept all her promises and was very proactive, finding out about my needs and making sure I had everything that I needed.  I love her a lot.”
