Ginger Soland

Ginger is very deserving of the DAISY Award according to the patient that nominated her:

“Ginger was working 12 hour shifts all three days I was hospitalized. Ginger was very professional when giving medications by asking my birth date each time and not letting this waiver even though she had given it to me many times, which I took as an excellent preventative measure. I was in with two broken feet and wanted to feel sorry for myself, Ginger listened and cared but also talked with me so I felt I would heal and be able to return to my normal activities. On the day I was discharged, she made me feel like a friend which made me feel like my care and recovery was important to her!  I have never in all my times in the hospital, had a nurse with the professional care and genuine compassion Ginger showed me and my family.”
