“She came into our hospital room with much love, the kind that takes good care of you while you are sick or either have your mind occupied with other important things. She will be there in your time of need.

My child’s grandfather needed a place to sleep. She saw to it that he would have a recliner chair and took the small heavy chair out of the room. It was heavy and I asked, do you need any help? She said no thank you as she proceeded to swap the two chairs. The recliner she brought in I know for sure was extremely heavy for her size, but she just struggled down the hall into the room with it, never showing any sign of any other feelings besides making our stay in the hospital pleasant as possible. She also took the time to get us pillows and extra covers and point us in the direction of the parents lodge, explaining to us what all was in there for us.

We also had a small incident with the amount of medication that our daughter takes. The way she handled the problem was marvelous. What she did was, my guess by her gut instinct, thought this is too much for a small baby. The lady came in the room with different syringes and sizes for me to choose the one I normally draw her meds up with at home that even a blind man could have saw to it to get the answer right. That’s my thought on why she is very deserving of the DAISY Award.”
