Since Min-Sheng Healthcare Network merged Hwa-Yang Hospital (now Min-Sheng Hospital Chong-Li Campus) in August 2008, Head Nurse Ms. Jeannie Ho has always complied with new hospital policies and procedures, and helped the hospital and nursing department in making changes and improvement projects, such as human resource management, equipment inventory check, staff scheduling, education and training, and hospital accreditation preparation. With her help, the transition from old Hwa-Yang Hospital to now Min-Sheng Hospital Chong-Li Campus was smooth and effective. Her contribution and accomplishments have been remarkably noticed and recognized by her superiors and earned the trust of her subordinates. Head Nurse Ms. Jeannie Ho demonstrated the core values of Min-Sheng Healthcare Network as in:
Honesty:
- Although being a staff of the old Hwa-Yang Hospital, she conducts herself in compliance with Min-Sheng’s core values of HOPES and new hospital policies. Being an infection control nurse, she also took over extra head nurse duties of outpatient, emergency room, and nursing education.
- During the 2nd half of October, 2008, the hospital had leasing contract issues with its landlord. There were several times of non-rational protests involving people yelling and displaying signs inside and outside the hospital. Nurse Jeannie Ho and her colleagues held down the front line to help her superiors deal with the conflicts.
Originality:
- She had great contribution to the preparation of hospital accreditation, such as records, documentations, education and trainings.
- She participated in health campaign poster competition.
- She advanced herself in pursuing bachelor degree while working at the same time. She is expected to graduate this year.
Progression:
- She actively attends internal and external professional trainings and courses.
- She assists in expanding hospital’s community health and checkup business.
