Jo Mowatt

Jo Mowatt form the North Lewisham MHOA CMHT has been nominated by a coworker who wrote of Jo:

‘Jo’s professionalism has been brought to my attention via her Team Leader as well as the service line Associate Clinical Director. Jo only works part time but this does not stop her from being involved in the management of some of the most complex clients on the services caseload. Jo works consistently to a high standard. She is heavily involved in the consultation service with an aim to improve the care for people in nursing homes. These clients are often not known to the service. Jo often goes the extra mile; to qualify that statement only last week Jo attended a funeral of a client she worked with for a long time, where she received a message of thanks in a reading by the family. Staff like Jo do not only put nursing in a positive light they also provide a positive picture of mental health services/interventions. SLaM should be proud to formally acknowledge Jo’s ongoing contribution to nursing’.
