Julie Campbell
Julie demonstrates her respect & caring every day with the people in the group homes. She is kind & really listens to their concerns. She helps make it home for the people who live here by doing extra things for each of them- some token or treat that shows she really cares about them. She has been an advocate for residents when they have concerns- making sure that they are seen by a doctor or even traveling to Iowa City with a resident to learn more about what his needs are. She has spent the night in the emergency room with a resident, arranged for appointments that were , in her judgment, urgent & followed through with teaching group home staff new skills in order to meet resident’s needs. Julie’s work here has made a big difference in the lives of the people we serve. I think she exemplifies what a nurse should be!
