Kelly Green

Kelly exemplifies the extraordinary nurse by displaying compassion, excellent nursing skills, professionalism, and by going above and beyond in the care of our ninety-seven year old mother.  Our mother passed out at home, hitting her head.  She was admitted to 5W/SW needing a pacemaker and had a nasty head wound from her fall.    

Kelley recognized that our mother was very embarrassed by the condition of the wound on her head.  She took the initiative with the assistance of two PCT’s, Trina and Kimberly, to clean the wound, wash her hair and help her feel more normal.  In thirty minutes they did a fantastic job of cleaning her up and boosting her spirits.  Their efforts meant the world to mom!  This definitely was the highlight of her hospital stay!

We have never seen such a great staff and teamwork in caring for patients so well!  We are so pleased that our mom was taken care of so well.  Thank you to everyone!
