Lily Moore

Lily Moore has been a dedicated nurse at Baptist for 35 years.  She was my preceptor when I started in the Cath Lab recovery area and has been an inspiration to all around her.  She is the epitome of nursing.  I have never heard one pessimistic comment come from Lily.  She is always optimistic, no matter what the situation, even on our hectic days. 

Every patient that comes in contact with Lily comments on her experience and caring ways.  She is always communicating with the patient and their families throughout the recovery process.  All of her coworkers comment on her team approach.

There are many days we are very busy and have late nights.  Anytime we need her help during these late nights she is willing and able.  Her presence in my area makes me have a positive outlook on my day.  It is a great feeling to work with such a wonderful nurse and she makes every day better for her patients.
