Linda Lee

Linda Lee, RN BSN is one of the DAISY award honorees at Murphy Medical Center for May 2011.  Linda works in Same Day Care Unit and was nominated by two of her coworkers after a patient wrote a thank you letter to Linda outlining the excellent care he had received while under her care.  The patient required an emergency procedure, and he particularly recognized Linda for providing efficient care in a very courteous and caring manner, to ensure everything went smoothly.  She helped minimize the patient’s frustration and discomfort during a time of considerable stress.  Linda is very good at assessing patient needs and quickly taking charge of the situation, which is what makes her a DAISY award nurse.
