Linda Vandagriff

Linda is very organized and always willing to help her co-workers. One night a newer nurse was having difficulties with anchoring a catheter and dealing with a “not‑happy‑you‑woke‑me‑up” urologist. Linda volunteered to call the MD back (knowing she’d get an earful) which she did because she was being an advocate for the patient (who couldn’t thank her enough) and a great team player. She knew to ask for a urojet, anchored a coude’, and was the hero of the night. I would like to nominate Linda for a “DAISY” for her consistent excellent nursing skills. Her clinical excellence and attention to detail surpass any nurse I have worked with in my entire career. She deserves recognition for all that she does in a day’s work that is a standard for her.
