Lindy Boyle

The patient's family wrote:

My mother suffered a devastating stroke that left her in the ICU for 7 days. While all of the nurses were awesome there is one that always my family wished were there 24/7 during her stay: Lindy Boyle.

My mother worked full time until her stroke, had a family of 6 to take care of and loved her life. When the doctors told her what had happened, she seemed to have lost her sunshine. For the next week, whenever, our nurse was Lindy, my mom seemed to remember that she was going to be okay.

Lindy provided my mother a reminder to keep kicking, for herself and for her family. Lindy would also console me, my dad, my brothers and sister, nieces and nephews. Someone stole our sunshine, Lindy brought it back.

Lindy so deserves to join the ranks of the DAISY Nurse!
