Lisa Loughran

Lisa has been a valued employee at SRMH for many years.  Her background in Emergency and Critical care nursing has allowed her to share her unique skills with many departments. She is very service oriented and always has the patient's safety and needs in mind when assisting in different procedures and tests. She always maintains a positive outlook even when the demands of her job become overwhelming.  She smiles and is courteous to all she comes in contact with.  She is best when dealing with stressful situations and is very effective under pressure. 

One example noted is when she had a critical care patient in CT.  While on the table, the patient vomited and aspirated.  While others in the room were becoming stressed, Lisa methodically assisted the patient and continued to monitor and care for him for several hours later.  Her experience and skill level is invaluable to our institution.
