Lynn Hernandez

Lynn came on shift and after 30 minutes, our son stopped breathing and she stayed calm, immediately started rescue breathing, set the code blue button for help. She cared for Taylor 3 days with not only excellent nursing care, but gave Taylor compassion and comfort. She is the best nurse we have ever experienced, and we have experienced many and she was also a great advocate. She always has a smile and happy disposition no matter the situation and made us feel so comfortable with her care of our son. She seemed to go beyond the norm in her patient care. We were very shocked to find she hasn’t been a PICU nurse very long. She seems like an old pro. Her nursing skills and capabilities surpass our expectations which are held pretty high.
