Mariam Persse
Mariam is a patient’s dream. I arrived anxious and afraid, but she quickly put me at ease. I was confined to my bed 7/24 for the entire seven days. She checked, between my calls, to find out if I needed anything. She would straighten my bed and hospital gown when returning me to bed. This made the bed feel “fresh and comfortable” for the more hours of lying there. Sunday, the morning after my three grand mal seizures, she fed me ensuring I ate some at each meal. She was always smiling and cheerful, ready to take a few moments and to chat … making my stay “feel shorter”. Mariam’s care made me feel “I was her only patient”. |
