Marian Hampton

Marian was nominated by her peers in the Recovery Room for the compassionate care that she provides to her patients.  Her peers say that Marian’s “sweet nature is very apparent to not only her co-workers but to the patients and their families as well.” She follows her patients from the operating room into the recovery area and talks with them as they are waking up from their anesthesia, holding their hand and soothing their fears if they are anxious or scared. 

Marian, who works the night shift, is always willing to help wherever there is a need, even if it’s outside of the Operating Room.  If Marian is not needed in her area, she willingly assists the Recovery Room staff with helping the patients.
