Martha Burns
"Martha provides wonderful and holistic care to her patients. One situation included caring for a very challenging leukemia patient that had Down's Syndrome. The patient and his mother loved when Martha cared for him. When a staff member asked how she cared for this patient so often, Martha replied, "Every time I see his face, I see the face of Jesus." This response from a caregiver shows how she excels in caring for her patients not only physically but holistically." |
