“Martha showed genuine concern and was extremely helpful. While most all of the nurses share these qualities, Martha seemed to go above and beyond. She was very perceptive and worked towards the goals she and the patient (my husband) discussed – be it pain management or urinating … It seemed that whenever we started to wonder or think it was time for a pill or a check on something – there she was one step ahead! At one point she actually admitted she would not sleep well if an issue went unresolved on her watch. Both my husband and I feel Martha should be recognized for her commitment and caring!”
