Mary Edmonds

Mary Edmonds, RN on 4 Center at St. John Macomb Hospital – Macomb Center, was nominated by three of her patients for a DAISY Award.  This is what they shared with us: 

One patient said, “She’s wonderful! She helps me out with everything, explains what’s going on and is very friendly.” 

Another patient told us, “I truly appreciate the excellent care and professionalism exemplified by my RN Mary. She has made my stay at St. John Macomb very comfortable. Thanks to her, she is undoubtedly someone who will insure that St. John will be 1st in care.” 

And finally, a third patient shared, “I was a patient there recently. I left a prescription there and Mary called and said she would deliver it to my home after her work hours. I told her I had enough protonix at home and did not need it.  A nurse who is that considerate and caring of a patient deserves an award. Her actions will stay with me forever.”  

Mary was very surprised and touched to receive her DAISY Award.
