Matthew Somerville

Matt cared for a patient that described Matt as “an angel” while in SICU.  The patient commented that Matt was there because he really wanted to be there and did everything possible to ensure his patient was comfortable.  He was very impressed with the level of care that Matt provided.

Matt is a very personable staff member who makes all of his patients feel well cared for, comfortable and special.  He has a great gift of gab and sense of humor that his patients and family members enjoy.  Matt is highly skilled in his practice, uses great communication skill daily and shares his knowledge with coworkers as well as patients and families.  He is a very good team player who assists everyone on the unit as needed.  Even when things get tricky on the unit you know he will step up as needed to make the day better.
