Melissa always shared lab results and talked to me about my blood sugars and low calcium levels. Melissa called for a ride home the morning of discharge when I became upset that I couldn’t locate someone to give me a ride. Melissa encouraged me not to worry and told me that something will work out and gave me a hug. Melissa often came in my room asking if there was anything she could do for me and had the discharge papers ready when my ride showed up. I feel that Melissa went above and beyond for me.” |
