Melissa Schorn

Melissa consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to patient care.  When she is in charge, the floor is managed with the utmost care and precision.  During multiple high-impact times, she makes sure that each situation is being addressed and quickly resolved. Melissa has the ability to make each person who comes in contact with her feel at ease, no matter how busy we are.  On 7 Southeast, many of our patients come to us post-operatively, accompanied by their family members who may be a bit panicked.  Melissa has such a clear and gentle way of explaining the surgery and post-op holding routine that people leave the front desk feeling more informed and involved in their loved one’s recovery.  Melissa is a joy to have on 7SE.  I always look forward to working with such an enthusiastic personality.
