Michelle Miller

There has actually been two incidents that Michelle has shown what an asset she is to the nursing profession & TMC. Both incidents involved in saving my dad, the latest being the time my dad was visiting someone on the fifth floor & became sick & faint. Michelle was heading his way with a vital machine when he began to pass out & she ran to catch him (big guy) & lay him on the floor to keep from him hitting the wall or floor. His heart had stopped! She quickley called for a code blue & her & Charlotte Martin (another deserving recipient) began CPR. They shocked him twice with the code blue cart & then after their persistence did he come to. He was sent to the ER & then admitted to get a defib. All the doctors said if he had not been here at the hospital he would not have made it. This all took place right at shift change (6:30 - 6:40) - a difficult & busy time. She saved his life the first time when the doctor had given us no hope but she gave my mother & family encouragement.

She is an awesome nurse! We are so thankful for her & nurses like her.
