Nicki Judy

Nicki was a great nurse.  One that explained everything to me in detail and made sure I knew the results from the tests I had received.  She even brought her PC in to show me the progression of my test results.  I had a blood transfusion and was getting my blood checked every six hours.  It kept elevating, then dropping and she showed me exactly what the normal blood range should be and what mine was.  She also wrote these ranges on the dry erase board for me to see.  This gave me a chart every six hours on the board to show me the levels so I wasn’t surprised when the doctor came in. 

She answered all my questions in great detail without rushing or brushing me off.  She told me what can cause the issue and how to prevent it.  Overall, she just made me feel like she cared and wanted to give me the information.  I knew that she would do anything she could for me.

She went above and beyond making me feel comfortable and calm.  She really is a great nurse.  The best nurse I have had since I have been here.  That is why I took the time to nominate her.  I want to thank her for everything and I wish I had the pleasure of having her as my nurse during my entire stay at Winchester Medical Center.
