Nicole Dutton
One night Linda and Nicole were getting a patient ready for open heart surgery. This is something they normally do not handle on the 1-North unit. The patient was extremely nervous. Nicole was very compassionate with her and actually stayed in the room as much as possible comforting her. Nicole even shed a few tears with the patient and helped to calm her before the surgery. Nicole was not scheduled to work the following night, but called in to check on the patient. This is just one of the ways that Nicole shows her caring and compassionate nature with her patients.
